Abstract Rude is a man who preserves the culture. As one of the original members of The Good Life open mic group in LA in the early 90’s, he has certainly stayed active. Along with Aceyalone, he founded the workshop Project Blowed, which again supported creative outlets for the youth. He was eventually recruited into the world-renowned Rhymesayers camp, where he currently resides.
Ab Rude and Urban Underground will be kicking off the 11th (that’s right, ELEVENTH) Flow And Tell tour, with Casual, Pep Love and Opio of Hieroglyphics on April 8th, which is sure to be a beautiful event!

Before then, though, on SATURDAY DEB 20th, Abbey will be hosting a night of great music at Sorrel Restaurant/Bistro. The show will be headlined by Alchemy with Self Jupiter (Freestyle Fellowship), and Kenny Segal (Project Blowed) as The Kleenrz, with supporting performances by Medusa(Project Blowed), Asad Ill and Mando the DJ. This venue is a big time supporter of hip hop music, serves great dishes, and oh yeah, has a great beer selection!
If you find yourself in the Temecula area, the action kicks off at 10pm and lasts until 2. It will be a 21+ show with a $5 cover.
